Hakata Station

The gateway to Kyushu, Hakata Station, was completely renovated in 2011 together with the opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen. The station is crowded day and night with visitors from the Kansai and Kanto regions and passengers transferring between limited express and conventional lines. From Hakata Station, it is a 15-minute subway ride to the Tenjin area and 10 minutes to Fukuoka Airport. For the convenience of the location, the rate of increase in land prices is among the highest in the country.
