Installed a solar power generator on the radio broadcasting center in Kitakyushu as part of efforts to diversify; began selling electricity back to Kyushu Electric Power Company. |

Launched Ichiban no Ashita (No.1 Tomorrow) Project as part of its 60th anniversary celebration. The project features a variety of special programs and events aimed at remembering Fukuoka's past and thinking about its future. The main event, the Ichiban no Ashita Festival, is held in Tenjin (the central district of Fukuoka) on November 9 and is well received. |
